5. Need for Speed (2014)
Storyline:-
Tobey, a driver, is deceived by Dino, resulting in Pete’s death and Tobey’s incarceration. Released, Tobey enters the De Leon race for revenge, driving a borrowed Mustang with Julia. Dino puts out a bounty to stop him. Tobey has chases and crashes before receiving a Koenigsegg from Dino’s former fiancée. In the race, Dino attempts to kill Tobey again, but crashes. Tobey rescues Dino from the wreckage, avenging Pete. Dino is taken into custody for murder. Tobey and Julia are reunited.
4. The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift
Storyline:-
Sean Boswell, a rebellious young man, goes to Tokyo to escape arrest. Sean is taught drift racing by Han Lue and becomes friends with him and Twinkie. Sean engages in a fight with Takashi, the Drift King, over Takashi’s girlfriend Neela. Sean masters drift racing, but Han gets killed while chasing Takashi. Sean challenges Takashi to a final drift race. Sean defeats him with a rebuilt Mustang and becomes the new Drift King. Dominic Toretto shows up and challenges Sean to a race in honor of Han.
3. Rush
Storyline:-
James Hunt and Niki Lauda, Formula One competitors, clash during the 1970s. Hunt, arrogant and talented, is the antithesis of Lauda’s cautious precision. Their rivalry reaches its peak in 1976. Lauda crashes, very nearly killing him, but returns to racing, provoking Hunt’s fury and drive. During the wet Japanese Grand Prix, Lauda withdraws, deeming it too hazardous. Hunt finishes third, securing the championship by a single point. Hunt’s lifestyle after this brings him into a decline, while Lauda reflects on their rivalry, acknowledging Hunt as the only man he was envious of.
2. Ford vs Ferrari
Storyline: –
Ford, determined to beat Ferrari at Le Mans, hires Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles. They build the GT40. Miles, a brilliant but hot-headed driver, tests the car’s mettle. In spite of problems, including brake failure and in-fighting, Miles wins Daytona, and earns his Le Mans spot. Miles battles through a faulty door at Le Mans and leads the pack, but Ford demands a staged photo finish, and McLaren wins. Miles is killed test-driving a new car several months later. Ford wins at Le Mans, and Miles is posthumously awarded.
1. Senna
Storyline: –
“Senna” is a biographical film of Ayrton Senna’s life in Formula One racing. It shows how he became famous, his acrimonious feud with Alain Prost, and his conflicts with racing officials. Senna won three championships but also struggled relentlessly for driver safety and helped in times of need in Brazil. The film shows the major highlights of the 1989 and 1990 seasons and his tragic death at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. It also talks about the founding of the Instituto Ayrton Senna for his philanthropic work. A longer cut of the movie includes interviews that provide a more balanced view of Prost.
